A short illustrated tutorial to Kawasaki rose. I made it long ago for my friends.

The four shots on the top show the folding in progress.

Then shots on the left show the upper side of paper, while the shots on the right show the bottom side of it.

Here are some videos that may be helpful also:

I would love to help you. Tell me, where you have stuck and I'll try to illustrate the unclear steps.

You know, it's a very clear and simple model, since almost all creases are made in the first 5 or 6 steps. As soon as I've managed to fold this model at the first time (it took me about 3 weeks to figure out the mystery of this diagram), it turned out to be very clear and well thought-out.
I've taught many of my friends to fold it. After the 5th rose the things go better ((^

I use the ordinary paper for printers.

I use something with sharp and flat edge to stroke and press the creases. Try metal ruler or anything of the kind (:

lmao, ill try a tweezer =PP

I wish I woulda seen this when I first started to fold the kawasaki rose....would have saved me a lot of work! I used a diagram and a utube video >_<.

Great work on the tutorial, the images are very clear and understandable.

*I tried to fold using regular paper but this model works so much better with wetfolding.
